I waited 2 weeks before opening my silhouette – it was sheer torture, but I needed to focus on some final work for two courses, which are thankfully, OVER! It’s quite sleek, and very long:
12×12 cutting mat is included (not shown here), and is very sticky. The control panel to the left has very simple controls and screen:

It comes with an instructional DVD, but I have already taken a look at some tutorials online. My favourite set of tutorials is from Under a Cherry Tree. Jin Yong covers a wide range of tips and tricks on the silhouette, as well as provides some interesting paper making projects. She has also done some great practical reviews of cutters, which helped me decide to choose the Silhouette Cameo.
